Your adventure starts at Marangu Gate (approximately 1,830 meters), where you’ll complete park registration before setting off with your professional mountain guide. The trail winds through the lush montane rainforest, home to towering trees, colorful wildflowers, unique plant species, and an abundance of birdlife. Keep an eye out for black-and-white colobus monkeys and blue monkeys that are often spotted among the forest canopy.
